This show will be a defining moment. Drs. Talbot and Gentry and host William Hill needs our prayers. For the longest time, the hyperpreterist movement has been desiring validation…from anyone they can dupe into giving it. They want to be seen as an "alternate option" within eschatology — so what is done on this show will either continue to hold back hyperpreterism as the heresy it is, or it could imply hyperpreterism has validity. Knowing Hill through extensive phone and internet interaction and his battle, public and private against the destructiveness of hyperpreterism; I have every confidence that the audience will come away understanding why hyperpreterism can't be given a seat in the hearts and minds of Christians let alone at the theological table. God bless and keep you.

It would have been really cool if the guests had brought the Bible into the discussion. Sure, it’s not really necessary, but it would have been cool.

Hyperpreterism is a PROPOSITION and must first be addressed on the propositional level. That is what the show did. A verse-by-verse interaction with the beliefs of hyperpreterism is better suited in book format…and even then at the current rate of fragmentation, which hyperpreterism should be addressed? Frostian? Vaduvian? Birks?
